Comparison
Throughput vs Clover / Lightspeed
Clover hardware dies with the account. Lightspeed taxes you for bringing your own processor. We do neither.
What it replaces: Operations and Data Portal + Real-Time Inventory and Menu Sync Hub
The receipts
Lightspeed charges merchants an additional $400 per month ($4,800/year) for using a third-party payment processor instead of Lightspeed Payments. Clover devices are underwritten by Fiserv and locked to the initial processing relationship; when a CBD or smoke-shop account is terminated, the proprietary hardware cannot be reassigned to a new sponsor bank and the merchant must buy new equipment under an approved high-risk channel.
